Non-Photorealistic Rendering (NPR) offers a variety of challenges both in terms of creativity and programming. In the following weeks I will be researching and developing methods and shaders to implement NPR through Renderman shaders.
Some of the objectives I have set myself are:
To develop shaders that mimic watercolor, charcoal, pen and ink renderings.
To document the process of developing such shaders, resources that help achieve this objective.
To create as many rendered images as possible to illustrate the developed shaders.
